Career Navigator Guides

Developed in collaboration with the Michigan Department of Education, these Career Navigator Guides are a resource for school counselors, career navigators, and other career guidance professionals to help high school students explore healthcare careers.

Each guide provides a detailed look at an occupation and includes four main sections to help students make career decisions:

  1. Assess - where students can be prompted to determine whether their career interests are well-aligned with the profession.

  2. Explore - where students can explore whether the career is a good fit for them and what the educational pathway would look like.

  3. Decide - a section dedicated to planning and logistics, including education programs and financial planning.

  4. Go - final reminders and resources to provide students with as they begin their first steps toward a career in healthcare.
